Collaboration with Islamic Center of Johnson County, Kansas

Working closely with Islamic Center of Johnson County (ICJC) to support international relief disaster efforts, supporting KC refugees, fostering community partnership, and advancing youth programs. In 2023-2024, we helped in Moroccan Earthquake, Libyan Floods and Gaza/Palestine Medical Relief.

Introduction:

The Mikael Rayaan Foundation is proud to highlight our support for disaster relief efforts and other community development initiatives in collaboration with the Islamic Center of Johnson County (ICJC) in Kansas City, Kansas. We provide financial assistance to communities impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.

Impact:

  • In September 2023, the Foundation allocated $500 each to support relief efforts following the Moroccan Earthquake and Libyan Floods. These funds provided immediate aid like shelter, food, and medical care to affected communities.
  • We contributed $500 towards Helping Hands Palestine in October 2023, aiding vulnerable populations facing conflict and humanitarian challenges in the region.
  • In November 2023 and February 2024, a total of $1500 were donated to the Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) to support their medical relief initiative for war-affected communities in Palestine.
  • In April 2024, special events were celebrated for Eid festival to engage local communities, particularly the underserved populations. A donation of $5000 was made to ICJC to advance its mission and impact.
